They call me Denise Dalphond. I am writing a dissertation on Detroit electronic music in the department of folklore and ethnomusicology at Indiana University. It it nearly complete except for revisions from my doctoral committee. I will defend in April 2012 and will have my Ph.D. in May of 2012. My Mom will be so proud!! I will make my dissertation publicly available online when it is finished. This blog is based on my ethnographic research in Detroit from 2008-2010, my academic writing, and other shit that you love.
